July 7th, 2016
Join us for our fifth Hearthside Dinner Event, celebrating the Fourth of July! We’ll enjoy dinner at La Jolla Groves, then Reid Moon will tell little-known stories from our American History. You will learn fascinating insights about the printing of Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” in 1776; hear an almost completely unknown story about the construction of the “Statue of Liberty”; and hear about the appearance of the Founding Fathers and signers of the Declaration of Independence in the St. George Temple. Original books, manuscripts and artifacts will be on display–including a copy of Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” which was printed in January 1776.
Tickets ($30) include dinner, the presentation, and a small gift from the store as a souvenir of the event. Seats will go quickly, so call 801-802-6064 to reserve.
